The founder of Mapping Sustainability, Denise Castronovo, guides each project through a scientific and systematic methodology that is drawn from her experience analyzing complex ecological systems. Her esteemed Ecology professor, the late Dr. Eugene P. Odum at the University of Georgia, is renowned for his pioneering approach to studying ecological systems under a new scientific paradigm that the “ecosystem is greater than the sum of its parts.” Heavily influenced by Dr. Odum’s methodology, our systems approach coupled with our strong technical capabilities distinguishes our business in the Professional Scientific and Technical GIS Consulting arena. Each of our endeavors is guided by these principles to produce work in which we take great pride.
